meaning behind this blog title

I have had a couple of people ask about the title of this blog (Bay to Breakers). It is quite simple. The title is from a footrace held annually in San Francisco where runners usually participate in the nude or in costume and/or drunk.

This is one of the funniest sporting events in the entire world.

The most entertaining and culturally significant sporting event in North America will be taking place on February 7, 2010 in Miami. The teams facing eachother have finally been set in stone. The Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints won their conference titles yesterday in exciting fashion and will battle in Super Bowl XLIV. I don't remember the last time I watched two exciting conference title games in one season.

The halftime show which is a pop culture staple will be performed by The Who. Do you know who/what entertained the audience in the very 1st halftime show ?
